Instructions

Do you like art? If so, what kind of art? If we think about it, we all like art in some shape or form. For some, art is a beautiful oil painting on canvas. To another, art is expressed through dance, while to another, it is expressed through one's fingers as one molds and shapes new objects made with clay. Did you know that written text can also be art? I would like all of you to be artists with the freedom to express yourselves in any way that you would like.

Every Monday morning, I will post a topic on my blog, which you are reading these instructions from. Once you have read my topic, you will need to leave a comment on my page. However, this "comment" should be more than one sentence. It should be your response to the question I am posting on my blog. I would really like to encourage you all to try to write as much as you can. Although I would like for you to write as much as you can, please do not spend more than 30 minutes writing them. If you read a comment from your classmates that you find to be interesting, feel free to comment to them as well! Lets try to make this as interactive via the Internet as possible. Your responses and comments will need to be completed by 8:00 p.m. every Friday. There will be no exception! Therefore, plan on completing this assignment before the Friday deadline in order to ensure that you receive full credit, which will be 10 points for each week.

On a final note, these blogs are intended to be fun and to allow you to further practice writing in English in a variety of avenues. Be adventurous and express yourselves! Although we may occasionally use some of your blog entries for grammar practice, these blogs are primarily focused on content. Have fun, and do not forget, all of you are artists!!

Question #6: My Indispensable Item

What is one item that you absolutely cannot live WITHOUT?  For instance, is it your cell phone?  Is it a piece of jewelry?  What is that item, and what happens if you do not have it with you?  Why do you always need this with you?

For me, as much as I do not want to admit this, I think my item is my cell phone.  I know that some people feel more liberty if they "accidentally" forget their cell phones at home.  I, on the other hand, am the complete opposite.  I do not feel complete and if it is possible, I will go back and get my cell phone.  There were many occasions when I forgot my phone at home, but I almost always went back to get it.  However, there was this one day when I was too far away from home to go back to get it, so I ultimately spent the entire day without it.  Boy!  I
sure felt strange!!  I think in my case, I do so many things on my phone: talk, text, check email, read news, get on social media, etc.  Therefore, I always need it.

    I think that I have two essentials items, are they my phone and my wallet. The first I usually use for check emails, news, social networks, etc. If I forget he, I feel really lost and afraid because I need be upgraded always. The second is important to me because I'm far of home and I need be protect myself with money like a credit cards if anything happen. If I forget it I feel afraid too, but I feel more scared than cellphone. In short, this two items are indispensables for me and always I check if I have them with me.

      Yes, it is very important to have both of those items! Has there ever been a time when you forgot to bring one? If so, how did you feel?

    My cellphone is very important for me because every day I have to be in contact with my parents,so if I don't bring my cellphone with my self they will be worry about me. When I don't bring my cellphone I think I am in a dangers

    In my case, I absolutely always need my cell phone.I often use it to contact my friends, my parents, and my teacher and so on. and search meaning of English words. Because it is important to me. If I cannot use it right now, I will feel die. Lol

    That difficult question , because I have very important things more than one I can't
    live with it . but may be the much important I need it " my phone " .
    I lost without my phone .

    For me I can go any place without me cell phone and my wallet .my cell phone help me in connect on my parents, friends ,and the world.
    My wallet where there is credit card,ID,money,and official papers own me . if I lost my cellphone and my wallet I will be crazy .

    My indispensable item is my cellphone.
    This is because I use it to contact my friends and family.
    It is also necessary when I need to check something and take pictures.
    Therefore, I always need to have it.
    I think that if I left it at home, I will become uneasy.
