Instructions

Do you like art? If so, what kind of art? If we think about it, we all like art in some shape or form. For some, art is a beautiful oil painting on canvas. To another, art is expressed through dance, while to another, it is expressed through one's fingers as one molds and shapes new objects made with clay. Did you know that written text can also be art? I would like all of you to be artists with the freedom to express yourselves in any way that you would like.

Every Monday morning, I will post a topic on my blog, which you are reading these instructions from. Once you have read my topic, you will need to leave a comment on my page. However, this "comment" should be more than one sentence. It should be your response to the question I am posting on my blog. I would really like to encourage you all to try to write as much as you can. Although I would like for you to write as much as you can, please do not spend more than 30 minutes writing them. If you read a comment from your classmates that you find to be interesting, feel free to comment to them as well! Lets try to make this as interactive via the Internet as possible. Your responses and comments will need to be completed by 8:00 p.m. every Friday. There will be no exception! Therefore, plan on completing this assignment before the Friday deadline in order to ensure that you receive full credit, which will be 10 points for each week.

On a final note, these blogs are intended to be fun and to allow you to further practice writing in English in a variety of avenues. Be adventurous and express yourselves! Although we may occasionally use some of your blog entries for grammar practice, these blogs are primarily focused on content. Have fun, and do not forget, all of you are artists!!

Question 8: Supernatural Ability

If you could possess one supernatural ability, what would it be and why?  Do you think you would use this ability all the time, or would you use it only on occasion?  Why?

For me, I do not know why, but I have always wanted to fly.  The funny thing, I have a mild fear of heights.  Therefore, you would think that I would be terrified of the idea of flying.  However, that does not fear me. I always thought it would be so fun and freeing to be able to fly.  Whenever I look at some birds (i.e. eagle), they look so free and at times, majestic.  I think there is something very liberating about the ability of being able to fly.

    I'd really like to have teleportation. When I was a child I watched Dragon Ball Z, the big famous cartoon around the world, and my favorite character (i.e. Goku), had a supernatural ability of teleportation. Whenever I watch this cartoon I miss my childhood and have more desire to have super powers. As soon as Goku, everyone characters had many supernatural abilities, it is fun.

    If I want to be honest I have tell the biggest secret in my life...I have a supernatural ability in my life,but I want to can move every thing with my eyes or can fly. Because I had a lot of dream about flying when I was 15...so I really want to can fly and goes around the world...

    If I can get a supernatural ability, I want to be able to use magic like Harry Potter.
    I like that story very much!!
    I will use magic to make myself disappear, become small and big, fly in the sky, and so on.
    I will be happy if I can have such a supernatural ability

      I really want magic too!!!!!! I love Harry Potter. I watched all series this movie in the theater. And i read it book, but I read it only first series. Because It is too many pages, so I gave up to read it!!!!LOL

    If I could possess one supernatural ability, I want to have ESP. I want to know everyone's feeling and thinking,. Because if someone will kill me, I could know how to kill me, and I could protect me before happening. And I want to use power. For example, when I want to open the closet, I cat do it without using hands. It is similar to magic. if I can use this things, it's funny, and my friends will surprised.

    Each one of us has the capacity and capability of wonderful can achieve the impossible. I want to be my a supernatural ability hunting. In my country and specifically the towns my uncle has a fifteen kind of gun. In summer I go to him and I see him and he is a professional hunting. I usually I see hunting movies .In Africa I see people have a supernatural ability in hunting. I want to have a supernatural ability hunting.
